​Hand-drawn by Joyful Mind creator and long-time yoga enthusiast Shakti Burke, the Beginners Yoga Booklet presents a short summary of thirty beginners yoga moves in 13 pages.
 
Instruction includes:
  • simple warm-ups performed lying on the back
  • simple back-bending postures so essential to back health
  • transitions to forward bending
  • anti-arthritic joint releases that nourish and energise from the feet, ankles, knees and hips all the way up to arms, hands, elbows, shoulders and neck.
 
A unique feature is the sweet face of a lady who guides you through the booklet and makes various useful comments and suggestions.
 
If you are new to yoga, the Beginners Yoga booklet is a helpful companion on the mat during your home yoga practice.  
 
It is a great resource for teachers to share with students and is also a valuable teaching tool.
